Does anyone have the old website which came with these files?

There was no website what came with this file.

You probably mean the old china website what got leaked too, sadly ~2 years ago i spent months to find it. You can guess, no luck.

http://web.archive.org/web/20100114132856/http://ddmt2.co.cc/

You can find here the images and pure html if you have time and knowledge to rebuild it.

Actually the Rain serverfile and the website is Hongkong, not China. They had their seperate server.

The link what i gave is from DDMT2 (the first hungarian private server, still running on ddmt2.net btw)

because i don't remember the official hongkong server's url.

If you want chinese html and images you can find that too at the archive:

http://web.archive.org/web/20070227053745/http://yt2.catv.net/

(Use the timeline you can find newer and older, they changed their site quite frequently)

I already contacted ATAG the owner of DDMT2 if he kept the Hongkong website, waiting for his reply.

Btw his server still running just in another domain (ddmt2.net) maybe it's the oldest (or at least on of the oldest) P server what still running since it started in 2009. My reg date is 2009-12-29 😜

If I don't succeed to find the HK webpage then i may rebuild it in the future using the web archive images-css files.

The password is mcncc.com
The navi pw is 123456
And ingame user: rain / 12345

By the way it is a 2009 serverfile, don't know why most people call it 2004 or 2008. It's uploaded in an unpacked form, but the original archive from mcncc.com topic contained more files, including a readme.txt too with the release date and informations.

The included 2004 client in this topic (what is 2005 actually) will not work with this serverfile.

Here is the original 7z self-extracting archive (pw: mcncc.com) and a really compatible chinese client:

This is an old error we used to fix by typing: fsck -y

Also, do as TMP4 said, those are 2009 (with mostly 2008 files) serverfiles. We usually call them 2008 because the game.core is r808 (iirc) which is a 2008 revision. But I didn't check in details.

r404* game and dated as 2009 june 🙂 And the whole sf got public only at 2009 september.
The quests are dated as 2008 tho.

It is rumored that some had the source and that is why many times "Game" files with fixes and things appeared, and then the diffs arrived, it seems very curious to me how now if you edit a "," it gives bad game.core and before changing 4 letters with a diff you even had a flying unicorn, the "Game" now seems like a millennial who cries for everything ajajjaja, but returning to the topic, when the source was filtered it was known as "40k" but it has always been the same source only that it was It has been updating over the years, in fact, you could use a base source as mainline with the rain servers, modifying and adapting it a bit, correct me if I'm wrong, I've been outdated for a long time, it still seems curious to me, as I mentioned above, It seems curious to me that before we could modify a game, with 4 nonsense with a click, and now for a simple comma or a point of kernel error your pc burns, etc, just like I wonder who put a hamachi limiter? that is, someone had That blocking or for some reason hamachi no longer worked to play with your friends after "40k", does anyone know about that? Ever heard of a "40k" launcher or someone who had managed to play with friends in hamachi at 40k. .. but I find it curious, my English is shit, so I leave some questions, to see who is more updated, since it makes me curious:
1-Who made or why does not allow hamachi or local connections to be used in 40k, if the source is supposed to have always been the same, only more up-to-date?
2-For what reason was the "Timebomb" made, if that also meant harmful to the officers? I know they did it in case it leaked or something like that, but because with an amount of x years and not instantaneous?
3-Does anyone know any more anecdotes or something else that we can expand on with the post, I haven't updated myself for a long time and I'm curious.

PS: Another curiosity that I have, is that if they have always had a source, because they have taken years to make certain systems, when it has always been seen in their files that they already had certain systems or things implemented but without use?

greetings and I hope you have a good year

not found. i don't know how to translate the server and the client.

channel\share_data\locale\hongkong\big5_string.txt

How to translate??? By your hands lol. Do you even need such old serverfile? You better look another serverfile, maybe your desired language exists in the leaked GF files so you can have a newer server and your langugage out of box...
