Hello,

 

Since yesterday afternoon, Metin2Dev and everything related to it has been inaccessible.

 

The infrastructure has encountered many problems that have taken some time to correct: saturated storage on a third party service, chassis problem, unavailability of VSphere HA, ...

 

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and we invite you to let us know of any problems you may encounter.

VegaS closed the topic because it is not made to discuss or have an argument about it.

 

If you want more informations, it was a general shutdown that was completely out of our control and our sphere of ability. It was hitting the provider and was not a local problem. The whole machine was down and we were unable to access it by any means and it had to undergo manual maintenance.

 

Sorry for the downtime, but it had nothing to do with team.

That's right, I want to see your reaction when your players of a private server, saying the same thing about your staff when the server it's down because of your provider and they've no idea what's behind of it.

And guess what? You'll get insults also, because they pay you with tens of thousands of euros.

 

So, do you think your reply it's right in this case with metin2dev? When you just open the forum and download resources? I don't think so.

This staff bought the forum when it was dead and paying a lot for it from their pocket and they will not get that amount of money even in years (they also have jobs and other things), so you're attitude it's very bad.

That's a reply from a human being, not from staff.

Every shout, party, info etc chat would go to LC_TEXT what adds a "@0949" to the message if translation not found in in locale.cpp's locale_find (it's hidden but you can see in /n for example or if you write messages to console) and that "@0949" makes accents bad plus you get a syserr each time somebody shout or party or guild chat etc. So you can delete this 2 ifdef if you already set every LC_TEXT(DEFAULT_LANGUAGE.. / LC_TEXT(ch->GetLang().. and I'm sure you did because LC_TEXT's new first attribute is mandatory so if you didn't then you couldn't compile the game. So that's why I said this is just not needed at all and can be removed. Edit: LC_TEXT(TRANSLATE_LANGUAGE will not work. Use LC_TEXT(ch->GetLang().. (Sorry for bumping old topic but I wanted to share the fix)

      Feeding game source to LLM

      You don't need to train it on your source code. You just need to take a good model and give it more context. For example I use Github Copilot to help me with some trivial task while coding. If I need info about the whole source I just use @workspace in the chat when I ask it a question and then he has more context about the source.

      Quest 6/7 Problem

      Hi, sorry for my terrible English. I have a problem with system 6/7 of these server files. [Hidden Content] They do not bring the system quest.       Effect weapons

      I have the .mde and the .mse next to each other however this does not really work.. I have the correct EFFECT_REFINED + (the number of the enum value) in the playersettingmodule.py I applied the effect on InstanceBase.cpp (considering the item's vnum) with no luck.. Do I miss something? Does those files have a prefix path or something? Like if I put them on the wrong path (think about the granny texture) will not find them at all?
