What OS you ran your server on?

Greetings to all developers!

I would like to know your thoughts about running the game on different OS than FreeBSD.

PS: If you run server on different OS, just mention to be added to poll.

DragonFlyBSD is a good os for run Metin2 

FREEBSD is a good compile OS ( performance little bit better then dragon)

I usually run my local server on Windows, way better to launch and nice debugging through Visual Studio.

Otherwise, I use FreeBSD, never tried DragonFlyBSD though (and it doesn't seems better looking at benchmarks). Debian can also be used if you find the proper equivalences. But I usually stick of FreeBSD

Would just like to say that Dragonflybsd was worse in almost every benchmark when compared to freebsd vanilla 12, and when it was better was by a really small margin.

So i'd say dont use those non-sense failure forks, use the real thing.

FreeBSD, force of habit.. I mean this is the best way if you want stable, perfomance and good security system.. I do not think it will ever change..
