Yeah if you can't connect to your server the only thing you can do is contact the host. What were you changing before rebooting and why did you reboot? Please be aware that on FreeBSD you rarely ever have a real reason to reboot. Services can be restarted in the shell. This is a common mistake people make because of all the old tutorials online telling you to reboot after installing everything.

I didn't set these files up at all.. the only thing I tried to do was run the server.. was going to go from there.. all the errors in the logs aren't my fault... I'm just trying to get something to start with

I downloaded a random client with some files to mess around with and see what's out there.. not sure if 28249 is the correct client to be using but supposedly these are supposed to work with the server files. I also went and downloaded the latest 54250 vanilla core from here and noticed in stdout there was an error about the notxt lib not being compatible with the game core so I removed the preload from the start script. I've tried disabling the server check in the CONFIG files. I'm running FreeBSD 9.3 64-bit in VirtualBox. I think there is some issue with this causing the client to close.. maybe a need for a different exe or some kind of change in the exe or server to work in vbox.
