Premium TAUMP 838 Posted November 10, 2014 Premium Share Posted November 10, 2014 Tutorial for dum*ass. 1. pkg_add -r mysql56-server 2. ee /etc/rc.conf mysql_enable="YES" 3. pwd_mkdb -p /etc/master.passwd chown -R mysql /var/db/mysql && chgrp -R mysql /var/db/mysql 4. service mysql-server start 5. /usr/local/bin/mysqladmin -uroot password 'yourpassword' 6. mysql -p 7. After reboot always accounts was the same without modifications before start.
