help need by old user

hi all from a 62 year old fellow (hence the name) who would like some help/info getting a online server (instead of a virtual box one) to work with the files from Ulthar V2 files

as seeing i am in Australia i have got a VPS up and running here with Freebsd 13.2 on it but i am having all sorts of problems in getting MYQSL5.6 to function properly to where i can connect to it via Navicat etc

as i have tried using the "How to create a Metin2 private server on dedicated server with Metin2 Project" and a few others without any success in getting it to function 

so any help would be great so i can get my Totally free Zycloniusmt2 server make again
