ZycloniusMT2 Server from Australia still around

[granpa123 11]

Happy New Year all well i just thought i would let you know that the server is still around and working

as i not going to add any presentation as have done that many times before

but remember it has been made as not a easy server like most are made it has been made with game play in mind rather than taking 10 minutes to get to lvl20

so have a look and you may be surprised that the Free Server not a Easy Server

due to some circumstances of where the server was located i had to make some changes for the better (moving server) as because of the changes everything seems to have gone even better that i have thought as the problems that have plagued the old location have seem to have fixed themselves as with a lot of testing in many various ways it seems to be quite stable and working well

so i know no one likes that fact its in Australia and it is free but hopefully the better experience will help

hello all

well there has been some changes to the servers location and speed
as now there is a improvement in the connection speed with very few disconnects from server
as i have done some testing from here via a VPN in England /Chile etc with a ping upto 400ms and having 3 characters without a disconnect
so it seems that the move to a faster system may have fixed the problem for now as all that is left to try if it gets busy.........

Is there a discord? and how do I connect to your server? (the link: www.metin2.au does not work)

I'm looking forward to playing a free server that is hosted reliably!

[granpa123 11]

hi there well give me chance to fix it up again as you will find not any players as because of where it is here in Australia and because it is there will be a small delay when connections are bad but should be back in a while

[granpa123 11]

hi all Granpa123 again with the update of Zycloniusmt2 server as it has had a lot of changes and updates so lets start

firstly it is still totally free as we ask for nothing from you except feedback on any things you find may be not working etc

secondly we still ask for NO money to play the server as everything we add is somewhere on many maps as check website for map names and all new maps may look like others on other servers but what happens on the map has been redone by [SA]Bob

thirdly now it is on a totally different location and speed so less problems and the players using it now have no problems with speed except when conductivity to here is busy (just like anything else

lastly if you have to leave a message on something and there is a time difference it will be fixed fast as players have found

New Address .......... www.metin2.au ..........as well as othe usual ones like zycloniusmt2.loginto.me etc

[granpa123 11]

hi all

the server is still going with a few updates and also a few map changes but seeing it is all from somewhere in Australia and totally free speed maybe a slightly slower because of the distance

[granpa123 11]

hi all i have just made some big changes to the item mall map to some of the NPC as before you need to give them items i have take this part away and added a few new items etc too

[granpa123 11]

Because of all the under water internet cables are being destroyed by certain ships and the other problems that makes it hard to get a good ping from Europe (as tried many sites) i have decided that i will be closing the server online from Australia as it getting impossible for anyone to connect to it and use it now but will still keep trying to upgrade it

so thanks to all who have tried and failed in the past as web page may remain

hi all

there has been a free changes to this server as it seems that i have eliminated if not all lag and disconnections to the server now

but seeing the connection from Europe to Australia is not the best at times i think i have a work around it as a couple of player have no complaints about that

hi bro , the server is still on ?

[granpa123 11]

[killutuu 0]

I was playing a lot on zyclonius and I love how server was . Is any chance to bring it back?

i dont remember the name I use back there. But I was first to get average damage 62 on harpoon sword

[granpa123 11]

hi all

here is a little update on the totally free server as it has been placed on a proper commercial site which has good connection speed now

so now hopefully it will be what you expect from my type of server since i have been playing with this stuff since 2010

so remember i am a old age Australian who does not try to rip people off but never gives up as has nothing better to to do now

Granpa123

[granpa123 11]

As of January 2026 the server was placed on a very fast online server with the latest type of server which I have added things like Wings/Sashes and Mounts you can unmount plus a good supply of Quests etc and like to thanks the 2 fellows who helped in setting it up online
Plus my usual collection of Maps, Weapons and Items etc and it will be still a totally free server where you really play for free!!!!!!!!! (read website info)

so if you want a mainly basic style of Metin2 without all the fancy looking easy stuff well why not have a look here where you have to work of everything you want to get as i have place everything either in shops or on certain maps and have placed them in and on different maps

being in my 16th year of setting up and doing it all myself on different types of servers from the original "rain" and "Profizocker94" etc files (which i still have) i hope you enjoy my latest version

[granpa123 11]

Seeing that it it seems that some player's from Europe (Not counting the ones who play here now) do not want to play here

I have decided that here will be for players from the Australia,Asia Area and America's where the ping will be better

If you want to from Europe and want to play here you will need to send me a message so i will not delete your account
