-TÜRK- 23
Why we are stripping our cores? - 'Cause you are removing symbols & shorten relocation informations. Think a string, then think an adress? Which one is more reachable for system? Through this system can read informations more stable & fast. Like python, .py is more unstable than .pyc Command in BSD: strip -s game_file_name Good luck within development!

-TÜRK- 23
it a good protection if Your own game gets into inappropiate hands, because it strips function names for sure, for better protection, you can make some password protection for your game file with a little c++ codes.. Active Member ATAG 310 Posted February 15, 2014 Active Member Share Posted February 15, 2014 You can also skip the "-g" option in CFLAGS... (and -Wall for skip useless warnings - you will see some interesting one )
Sphinx² 24
for sure, for better protection, you can make some password protection for your game file with a little c++ codes.. Why not use a license server? (But no one will use your compiled game core anymore... because the source is public). Kind regards Sphinx
