Propably you replaced mysql database tables too. I suggest you dump sql files of your databases that are necessary for metin2 game and homepage and import them to your database.

Yes it's good that they aren't aggresive. Also that shitty ancient 0815 server called rise of metin was sued by gameforge and lost their youtube channel , and facebook channel with 60k likes. By the way magic2master seems to be a different game but it is influenced very much from metin2.It uses a different game engine too.M2Mnext is online which is a metin2 private server by the same company

OK the source has been published about before 3 months...All people were afraid that ymir will do the best to prevent people from using the source , and also stop opening private servers... I am really curious why ymir doesn't do anything to prevent people from opening private servers or spreading their work.This company looses a sh**tload of money just from private servers. I know private metin2 servers are here since 2009. Does anyone know what's going on? Just curious

I doubt that it will be an easy thing ... From 2008 until now metin2 has implemented new things such as costume system , dragon soul , belt system , and much more and the packets will not be correct between the 2013 serverside game and the 2008 metin2client. You will need to change additional things appart from pong.

OK i am the first person posting on this forum So my question is... I haven't seen anyone compiling the game on linux. Why so?? Why FreeBSD and not Ubuntu or CentOS or Fedora or something like that??

All gamefiles leaked by publishers are compiled and cannot be decompiled anyhow. Ymir's source has been leaked and published at late December.You can use that to compile your game , i know that novaline is 40k revision.You can compile your own client binary too. I am not sure where you can find the source but anyone has it right now. Good luck

Yes that's true. Anyways if anyone could do a tutorial on how to remove ntp completely it would be nice because i have upgraded to FreeBSD 10.0 and i was still vulnerable.Also i have tried upgrading to the latest version which was 4.2.6 instead of 4.2.7 i don't know why :S

I have had a huge problem with ntp attacks too and i didn't find any solution. Also my webhosting company kicked me out just because they were unable to filter it -.- If anyone can make a tutorial on how to completely remove it it would be nice. I don't see any reason of using it if i can set the time on my own. Edit: @Shogun how does worldstream allow you to host your server there?I thought with a simple fake dmca letter anyone could take down a metin2 server hosted there.
