modifying MSE files - can't find effect time length

Hi - modifying an MSE file to alter the time the effect lasts for, but unfortunately i can't find the line that alters the time and nor can i find any tutorials, i've been modifying them in notepad++ as i'm not aware if theres any program to assist with it using a gui. in the code below this effect doesnt end and i wish to put it on a timer to incorporate it into one of my systems. any information is appreciated

use World editor for edit .mse files.

 

Look at Emitter - Cycle.

Lenght - Lenght of this effect

Loop - If u have allowed Loop and put for example "4" to box next to allowed Loop button, effect will repeat 4x. When you put 0, effect will repeat again and again (like glow)

ok, will do thanks. always had trouble doing it on W.E but then i wasnt trying to alter times with it
