But I'm not finding the corresponding file to assimilate the client version.

Go in your source directories and do the command. It's just a search to understand where is your problem. (you told don't know where is, I think it's not default thing).

 

#  <-  means is a shell command.

game / config.cpp   (or CONFIG at channels)

variable g_stClientVersion  

bin / UserInterface / PythonNetworkStreamPhaseGame.cpp ->  search for SendClientVersionPacket(), will be the number there
