-TÜRK- 23
As first Improve your RAM size, your core gets lag with it. Second, your cores can't connect db or whatever (depend your ports).
Premium Shogun 4591 Posted February 18, 2014 Premium Share Posted February 18, 2014 SYSERR: Feb 7 08:46:31 :: heart_idle: losing 75 seconds. (lag occured) There's something freezing your server at that moment. Can you check your server's date?
Rumor 2608
how much RAM do you have? It's pretty hard to get a dedicated server that doesn't have enough for a metin2 server. How many cores do you run too?
AlCapone 67
I have 4gb ram and only run 4 cores in total for 2 chanels on...So whit 4 cores i think is ok and only 60-80 players..
Alpha 482
It's okay those lags appear when some connection for example db to game or game to game take too long. Restart the Auth Server and make sure every ymir server check or expiration date is removed before you do so. Also check if you get attacked and check if the connection to mysql and other connections are fine

Premium Shogun 4591 Posted February 18, 2014 Premium Share Posted February 18, 2014 I had the same problem in my server and it turned out to be a hardware issue which caused the system clock to be off. Always make sure your server's time is correct.

Active Member ATAG 310 Posted February 19, 2014 Active Member Share Posted February 19, 2014 $ date Wed Feb 19 12:46:32 CET 2014 $ If you haven't got ntpd running, use the ntpdate command (with any time server) to set the clock: ntpdate time.kfki.hu

Rumor 2608
I recommend you don't use NTP, block it or disable it if possible.. alot of ntp attacks going around lately.

Rumor 2608
ee /etc/ntpd.conf uncomment: restrict default ignore As far as I know this should do it. Could also try this next: service ntpd stop
Premium Shogun 4591 Posted February 19, 2014 Premium Share Posted February 19, 2014 ee /etc/ntpd.conf uncomment: restrict default ignore As far as I know this should do it. Could also try this next: service ntpd stop The first step is enough to secure against ntp attacks, if you disable ntpd you can't sync your server's clock automatically and this is a very good idea when you are running a metin2 server where the clock going off can cause big problems. Active Member ATAG 310 Posted February 20, 2014 Active Member Share Posted February 20, 2014 Mutch better to make a firewall rule to access the ntp port only by the timeserver.
