Weapon & Armor shining

Hello,

So I have a problem regarding weapon & armor shining. They are supposed to shine as their + increases, but this doesn't happen to me. This applies to all weapons and armors.

In the left image you can see how it looks right now and in the right one how it was supposed to look like.

The specular is set inside item_proto.txt, so I don't really know where to search.

The values are already set as they should be (I'm talking about item_proto.txt). In the screenshot, the items are +9 and don't have any shining at all. Take a look below (it starts with 30 at +4 and ends with 100 at +9).

As for item_proto table, I have disabled MirrorItemTableIntoDB() and MirrorMobTableIntoDB() in my source. So, the item_proto table will be empty.

The specular is managed clientside, so the problem lies clientside, not serverside.

In the client, the speculars are set to 0 for some reason.

Client protos are created with the dump_proto tool

I think you misunderstood. The items have correct values inside item_proto.txt. Rebooting/reloading tables doesn't help at all.

Well it's not a guess, it's a logical fact.

The specular is managed clientside, so the problem lies clientside.

If you use the dump_proto file, and so you use your own compiled txts to make the clientside item_proto, and the txts are fine, the error is in the dump_proto, 100%.

There is no other logical explanation, if you didn't touch the binary you're using.
