Core change

Hey i would like to know how can i change my core without affecting my server. I have the 2089 core which is a little bit old and want something new that has most of the bugs fixed and it's stable. ( i have no idea how to compile or edit core).

Theoretically you could use Vanilla with the no txt option enabled provided you upgrade your server's OS as well. Check:

i want to use the vanilla core but i don't where to put that file or how to edit the core can anyone help me ?
