1. Open PuTTY and log in as

User: root
Password dev

Type cd /var/db

tar zxvf inscarnium_db.tar.gz

After this follow the next steps =>

 

1 Go to

/etc/rc  (FileZilla)

Edit rc.conf and add last line
mysql_args="--skip-grant-tables --skip-networking"

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server restart

 mysql -u root mysql

UPDATE user SET Password=PASSWORD('New Password') WHERE USER='root';

FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

exit;

Edit again rc. conf and delete the line
mysql_args="--skip-grant-tables --skip-networking"

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server restart

mysql_upgrade -p --force => the password you've set above

Login to MySQL with your password.

How can i update mysql 5.5 to mysql 5.6??

 

I tried to run these commands:

 

cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql55-server
# make deinstall 

 

and 

 

cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql56-server

# make install clean 

 

But it does not work

How do i connect to filezilla?

i tried the ip from ifconfig but it didnt work. root & dev, too, right?

the thread also says that there are no suitable files implemented, so those should work on every 40k game files?

and where i can fetch the libs for freebsd 9.2 ? i have the same problem on libs...
