Question

Hello,

I hope someone of you can help me. I compiled the source without any errors.

But the db core only starts sometimes and at the other time i get Core dumped.

Look here

The backtrace is this:

If someone has an idea which is wrong i would be very glad ;)

Kind regards

Chuck

It is maybe an error with hotbackup, try in conf.txt:

DISABLE_HOTBACKUP = 1
UP: my db just skip this option, i don't know why. Sorry.

$ uptime
1:26AM  up 732 days,  8:29, 1 user, load averages: 0.38, 0.31, 0.22

$ uname -srp
FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE amd64

Feb 17 16:10:48 :: Changed g_stLocale euckr to euckr

Feb 17 16:10:48 :: SetLocale start

this may be indicative item :)

You can try compile mysql with --with-charset=euc-kr  its character set issue
