Costume shining

Hi!

I am interested in the costume system, and I would like to add some effects to one or more costumes.
However, I have noticed that I can't make it work on my own.
I am not a programmer, so I am not really used to doing things like these like others, so I would like to
ask for your help.
By the way, I have not miscounted the numbers, the effects actually can not be seen.

I'm looking for a solution to add effects on costume.  This solution doesn't work =(
