Source compile question?

Ok, so i used this tutorial to compile the metin2 source on freebsd: http://metin2dev.org/board/topic/140-compile-source-on-freebsd/?hl=compil.

But i have one little problem. I want to compile the mainline, but the mainline dosen't have the .a files from lib*** . Novaline has them, but with novaline i get all kinds of bugs.

How should i compile mainline? Should i use the novaline .a files? Should i compile it without those files?

also wanted to know compile the mainline, a tutorial or vdi configured to mainline would be a good one.

Thats all the libs compiled from mainline on freebsd. You have only chance some stuffs on makefile to compile the source without problem.
