hi I saw a games called mondialmt2 . their client support new item also map + mob . but their client size is 350 mb . how it possible . their pack file is .pyc

With the public sources it's more easy to write new packers which can compress the files better, but to reach 350mb is a really hard thing. It's a fact that the original clients include lots of unused things which can be omitted, but you gain with that only about 100-200mb - and putting new models into it reaches at least this size. So in my opinion, if what you said is true, they must have a really good compression technology, and they should have deleted more unused things from the original f

Don't forget that in 2005 the pc2 characters hadn't been used yet, so the scripts and links are quiet deficient.
