VPS question

Well my question is should a VPS with:

- 2GB ram

- 2 CPU

- 50GB SSD

 

be enough for like 100 to 200 players??

It may be enough if you use a low number of processes (cores) but be aware that many VPS vendors oversell their products causing performance spikes which may go unnoticed in a web server but make a game server unplayable.

i dont have a exact budget but i just need to know the specs of the VPS

In my oppinion, 2 GB are enough if you have the knowledge to optimize the memory usage on mysql & metin2. Otherwise get 4GB to be safe.

And is SSD a must or does HDD go aswell?

hdd will work well because most things are in ram

and u dont have that much players that u need fast iops/read/write
