Beginner advice considering serverfiles?

Greetings Metin2Dev.

 

For the last two hours I have been attempting to create my own metin2 server using Hamachi. I'm quite aware how to setup a German server, but I've been trying to replace German files with the English ones found I've been following the guide but I'm stuck at the point where I have to type:

 

 

chown -R metin2 .

 

The problem occurs here, whereas this error appears:

 

 

I've replaced the game and database folders with the files specified in the thread, but for some reason this error still occurs.

- Is it because I'm using Daroo files? If yes, which files do I have to use when trying to launch a Hamachi server?

 

Sorry, it's been a while since I've had to do with Metin2 servers, but I really want to get back into it.

I suppose you don't have an user called metin2, otherwise that should be fine.
