7th alchemy

Hi, can someone please tell me why I can't equip Amethyst Alchemy? It says "This is the wrong slot."

Hi, I think this is probably a client/server slot mismatch rather than an item_proto issue.

If Amethyst is your 7th Dragon Soul type, check that the Dragon Soul slot count was increased on both client and server.

Older sources usually only have DS_SLOT1 to DS_SLOT6 with DS_SLOT_MAX = 6. If the client shows a 7th slot but the server still validates only 6, you can get exactly this kind of “invalid slot” message.

Check especially:

EDragonSoulSubType / DS_SLOT_MAX
CItem::EquipTo
Dragon Soul equipment slot ranges
client Dragon Soul slot indexes
dragon_soul_table.txt

If you post your EDragonSoulSubType and the Dragon Soul part of CItem::EquipTo, we can check where the mismatch is.
