Metin2 Server NEARLY Ready Launch – Looking for partner

Hey everyone,

Some time ago, we were working on a Metin2 server, but we never actually launched it. After a few tweaks and some final fine-tuning of the EXP and drop rates, the server would be ready to go.

We are basically just few amatuers who likes metin2.

Is there anyone experienced here who would like to join forces and help us take this to the finish line?

What’s missing and what we know needs to be done:

Complete Website + Item Shop: Including full database integration.

Server Anticheat: Some adjustments have been made, but HLbot and others would definitely still get through, and a wait hack would 99% work as well. We definetly need help with that

Dungeon Re-entry: Currently, there's no option to re-enter a dungeon after getting disconnected/kicked, and we're not sure yet if we want to add that feature or not.

Other than that, everything should be pretty much good to go. These are the main major tasks—there might be a few other minor things to sort out, but we aren't aware of any other big issues.

 

To be completely honest, we are looking for someone who can:

- Take care of the official server ownership/registration. We have no experience with such a thing and someone experienced would be usefull.

- Handle the website.   ------ We can probably sort it out, and pay someone to do it. But maybe you have the knowledge?

 

We don't really have a knack for these areas, and honestly, that's the only reason we didn’t finish it back then. We just like Metin2 but we totally dont understand everything about the things around taxes and etc..

We don't just want to get rid of the project, we genuinely want to see this server launch. We absolutely want to stay involved and keep working on it —> we have plenty of ideas and visions for future updates.

We are a 3-member team, and we’d love to create something that we feel is currently missing from the scene. (For us and in our country). It’s a completely different style from the servers that keep getting released over and over again.

Its like oldish style of private server. Without new systems, max level 250. The server is currently in Czech language. I guess we would be happier if it would stay only for Czech community, but we are totally open to make it international. We would probably need help with integrating the system to make it international. 

We have small fanbase. We were active and working on it like 2years back. From then the server is offline. As i said, we would like to see it running..

I know there is like 0.1% chance someone will join us. But i take this like last chance and i said to myself i will try to post it.
