Sub Viewer

 Hello,

I couldn't find any tools that allowed me to view the subfiles in a .dds file image, so I created my own in python, and I'm sharing it.

It allows you to :

- Automatic Scan: The script recursively scans a root folder to find all .sub files associated with a specific texture.

- Real-Time Visualization: Draw a red rectangle directly on the image to highlight the borders defined in the configuration file.

- Smooth Navigation: Drop-down menu (combobox) to select a specific file. Previous/Next buttons to quickly review a large collection of files or with hotkey (P) and (N)

 

How does it work?

You must define the path to the desired dds file and the path to the sub files to be scanned. The script scans all the sub files you have defined that are linked to the dds file and lists them in the combo box.

Check this program. Drag the texture into the program, then drag the .sub files to see which .sub file corresponds to which part of the texture.
