How to not go in the jail

Hi guys,

 

I am fairly new with metin2 private server dev. 

I just got a question before I would open a server. 

Do anyone know how to not get sued by gameforge for copyright issues?

I would like to know how to run this with low risk I would accept any tips.

You most likely won't break records so don't even bother thinking about it. 

Just pay your income tax in your country and you should be fine.

I hear you, but still how do you register your server legally, like a limited company or private entity?

Like? We think about to open in Hungary, or Romania based.

It's not really the copyright but rather a money laundering issue. There are hundreds of private servers and gameforge can't fight them all. You won't be a threat to them trust me. You will rather get fked by the feds.

We wouldn't mind to pay tax on the income. 

The question is weather you get a copyright lawsue or not.

There is a 99.999% chance that you won’t be able to make a server big enough for anyone to care about. So no, you will not.
