Question hide Costume/Skin/Sash etc.

Is it possible to create game options to hide outfits, weapon outfits, and belts from all players?

In this case, not only from the player, but from all other players, for example, if you don't like the look of these items, you can disable them for everyone.

If I'm not mistaken, you could add a new config system that allows players to hide all visual effects for all entities (not just specific items), but only for themselves—other players would still see them.

That's exactly it, the option for the player to hide outfits, weapon outfits, belts, etc. just for him, but to "hide" them from everyone else on his screen. I already have the system for hiding the player's own outfit, acquired from Owsap.

Is it possible, I did this the last year, you might duplicate the PART_{} and show the right one by the option, filling both part with the right vnums
such as PART_MAIN_NOSKIN, to make you understand.

"Global Skin Status" (Show case only)

In the client you only get the vnums of the various “PART_{}”, which will be set by priority.

If a player is wearing 11299 (Lv 66. Armor War), but also wears 41311 (to costume)

The final vnum of his part will be 41311, because there is just a PART_{}

In this way, you can never know what the player has under the costume, because for the client there is no difference between a costume and an armor (in terms of the part displayed) it only expects the vnum from which to extract the model.
The only way to do this is to send this data as well.
