How do I get a Rank?

 

Preamble

You have seen changes for many weeks. Indeed, I was thinking about how to improve the ranks and at the same time, the activity of the members within the community of Metin2 Dev. These changes were made in part to check and adjust the configuration. I'm finally happy to reveal the novelties to you!

How do I get reputation points?

You must participate in the Metin2 Dev community. For this, you can for example help members in the Questions & Answers forum or share new things for the community! All external links will be hidden by default in the Releases and Help Area category. You can also use the [hide]xxx[/+hide] (whitout + symbol) tag to hide a spoiler or code tag. Only the Guest, Newbie and Member ranks must react to a post to unhide the hidden content.

 

Why did I do this?

Many guests are only there to leech content from the Metin2 Dev community. This increases the bounce rate on Google searches and decreases member engagement. Since the implementation of the system to hide external links, the SEO of Metin2 Dev has been improved. This allows members who share things to get recognition, it also allows us to see if a post is popular or not. I hope you will like it.
