As @Defacer35 pointed out, the original http://download.gameforge.com/ server is down, and so is http://dlcl.gfsrv.net/. Basically, the only known remaining working servers are the following:

I therefore replaced the server in my old list:

Should you have other clients (installers would be great!), please leave a reply to this topic with a download link and I'll happily add them to the collection.

Edits:

April 20th, 2020: Added many clients from Gameforge's web download server.
April 21st, 2020: Added more clients that I've discovered on GF's download server.
April 21st, 2020: Added all the clients I could find on GF's server.
December 30th, 2023: Reuploaded the collection on archive.org, added Metin2 SG (14.04.2012) client thanks to @ForgiveN
March 20th, 2014: Added 2011 & 2012 Gameforge Mexico clients, US April 2011 client, Gameforge August 2010 beta client

Cheers,
Exynox.

can be a good archive with contributions, thanks

Exynox · April 20, 2020

So... let's say that Gameforge still hosts some old clients on their webserver. Let's also say I have fast internet.

Here's a sneak peek:

Sadly, from what I can see, not all versions have been kept.

I've tried the following timestamps: 20080811, 20081204, 20090526, 20091214, 20100421, 20100528, 20111216.

I'll be uploading the clients soon.

If anyone's curious, here's the small Python script I used for brute-forcing the URLs: https://pastebin.com/2yMCpLbn

Edit: I bruteforced all the timestamps from January 1st, 2008 to January 1st, 2013 for the most common clients. So more clients incoming!

Cheers,

Exynox

They're still working, just copy-paste the links to a new window instead of clicking them (Chrome).

Btw how would the OP supposed to reupload on Gameforge's webserver?

Does anyone have the Metin2.sg file?
@ AZICKO

Exynox · December 30, 2023

Hi guys,

Since MEGA decided to arbitrarily delete some of the clients, I painstakingly waited for two weeks to upload the whole collection to archive.org. I also made it available as a .torrent file, since archive.org's servers are notoriously slow.

Also, I added a June 2007 Gameforge EN client and an April 2012 SG client.

I honestly would like to upload the whole thing on M2Download, but quite understandably it wouldn't let me upload a 87GB zip file. Maybe @ AZICKO can help us with the best way to also host the whole thing in-house (since I fear that the archive.org copy might be taken down).

Thanks for the download link, I was able to check all the archives already saved on Metin2 Download and the SG, PL and US clients were updated.
A link regarding EN clients has been added.

Exynox · March 20, 2024

Hi there! A small update: I've found and added the 2010 Gameforge Beta client, another Z8Games US client, and two Mexico Gameforge clients (I didn't even realise there was a Mexico locale until now!). One of these clients is the only 2012 GF client we have currently in this collection...

@ AZICKO, I'd appreciate if you would be so kind to update M2Download with these new additions:

https://archive.org/download/metin2-clients/US 2007-2011/Metin2US_v1023.exe
