Can anyone please help me installing the FreeBSD 9.2 in my Sfiles? I use the Azylon2 Files (downloaded from **********) and i want to upgrade it to FreeBSD 9.2 .

I already tried that tutorial: http://metin2dev.org/board/topic/72-freebsd-9-64-bit-metin2-install but when i use this command in the VirtualBox: " portsnap fetch extract" it says

"Looking up update .FreeBSD.org mirrors... none found.

Fetching public key from update FreeBSD.org... Failed.

No mirrors remaining, giving up."

Can anyone help me with that?

Greetz, RachadoPT

Choose your virtual machine and click on "Settings". Then click on "Network" and choose "Bridged Adapter". After this you have to choose your network card and press OK.

If you don't know what your network card is you can search for "view (or show?) network connections" in Windows. Look for the network card which is having access to the internet then.

That happens only when i do de Bridged Adapter and then my network card, if i use the Microsoft Adapter Loopback (which i was using) it just says nothing and i cant run any command in the virtual box ><

If i need to do it with my network card, how do i connect it to the internet? if you know and i'm not being anoying, i'll be thankful if u can help me again :)

then go to the router config page (192.168.1.1) and enter DHCP

on your FreeBSD :

$ : sysinstall
configuration

freebsd-kvm-vps-solusvm-step-1-e13648547

networking

freebsd-kvm-vps-solusvm-step-2-e13648547

if you dont see it keep getting down

Interfaces

freebsd-kvm-vps-solusvm-step-3-e13648548

any thing like this B)

freebsd-kvm-vps-solusvm-step-4-e13648548

No

freebsd-kvm-vps-solusvm-step-5-e13648548

 User Confirmation Requested
Do you want to try DHCP configuration of the interface?
[ Yes ] No

freebsd-kvm-vps-solusvm-step-7-e13648548

the host : let it the way it is and never mind it you will need it later

the domain : localhost   better then let it empty << talking from testing only

ip get way : your modem/router config page (i have 192.168.1.1)

Name server : never mind it

ip address : some time its there some other no

if no go get it

from your router go to DHCP you should find one with the name (the host) // the same as befor

copy it to the ip address

the netmask shoud be

255.255.255.0

the same as in the pic

the last one let it empty

then OK

and get out of the configuration

reboot

this should do it

// opning port for your pc ip not for the Vm ip and use (192.xx.xx.xx not 41.xx.xx.xx)

for ftp

open port 21

sft

open port 22

metin2 port should be on your config file for each channel and dont forget channel 99 and the auth

good luck
