change .epk/.eix name in 40k game client

any one can make a tutorial how i can change the .eix / .epk to - .test or anything ?

Just open the unpacked binary with hex editor and replace the .eix with .ttt and .epk with .lll for example

 

then run in cmd

 

ren *.eix *.ttt

ren *.epk *.lll

if i want 4 letter's z.b - .invi . can i do this or only 3 letters?

If you have compiled your bin from source you can change the letters to whatever you want,but if you don't you can only do it with only 3 letters

open the Srcs/Client/EterPack/EterPack.cpp

and search this:

m_stPathName = pathName;

	strncpy(m_dbName, dbname, DBNAME_MAX_LEN);
	
	strncpy(m_indexFileName, dbname, MAX_PATH);
	strcat(m_indexFileName, ".eix");

	m_stDataFileName = dbname;
	m_stDataFileName += ".epk";
	
	m_bReadOnly = bReadOnly;
