How can I connect to server from outside?

How can I make my server to connect from outside? 40k serverfiles (I have port fowording in router...)

When i connect to my server from outside , i connect to caracter and he kick me to server list.

I see this , but i don't have windows. I have freebsd that operating system.

after searching for a solution how friends can connect without getting kicked after char select, I found something which works.

Let's just start.

First of all, we need to setup a loopbackadapter.

If we got that, we've to set it up.

Now we've to setup the virtual box and freebsd.

Portmaps (or something simlar) is needed too!

At least, we've to setup the Router-Ports to OUR! PC/internal IP, not to the Virtual Box internal IP or something!

Now people should be able to connect without getting kicked after char select.
