People have been asking this for years, nobody could make it work. I've literally read about it and made a release in 1 single day. If you and all the people on other forums who are selling a "premium" version of this can do that, it's because i gave you guys that initial tool, so don't come here to brag about it instead of thanking the guy that started it all. I've made this free release to solve a problem that other people couldn't solve, anybody can do stuff like saving the chosen resolution in the configs and read it again on client startup, so that's up to you to add on your server if you want it. Had i wanted to care about all this stuff i would have made a paid version on my website instead of releasing a free release on the forum. You are welcome for that release btw

That's literally industry standard dummy.. If you open apps like discord or steam you will notice there will be 2 icons in your taskbar, one is the application, the other is the patcher, you just don't notice it because they have the same icon. An executable CANNOT replace itself while it's running so a patcher must do the work, there are no exceptions in the world to this. Metin was literally the only app in 2026 that required players to launch the autopatcher instead of directly opening the game and then it does all the work itself. And yes opening the game once and then it updates itself and re-open itself when done is literally the best user experience you can have, that's why it became industry standard. I don't know how you can think having 2 launchers in your client folder, one to open the game and one to update it, could be a better user experience. Lastly but not least, that's a free system, if you are one of those people that don't understand how modern workflow works and would rather keep living in 2004 just don't use it, why would you be mad about a free release

Just the fact that you are using notepad++ as your editor means that you are in fact clueless. And it doesn't work like you think "we were all beginners once", there are people who were beginners and learned how to actually program irl by getting degrees and working in the field. And then there are people who were beginners, and think they are no more just because they can follow an installation tutorial or because they learned the basics/generate code using AI; but they are in fact still beginners and that's the main reason why so many servers are plagued with bugs and lag. So if you are serious about opening a server, pay a real developer. If you aren't and just want to play with the source there is no magical tip to help you install any system, just read the code that it's provided and try to understand it to the point where you can actually put it in the correct spot even though the search doesn't return any result

A user has pointed out how the window would move to top-left corner of the screen when resizing. I've updated the download link with the fix. You clearly implemented it wrong/your client is different and you must adapt it. Everything is written in the README provided with the system

As you can clearly see in the video this doesn't happen for me and other people, you either did something wrong or your source is different and you must adapt it to your use case

Added the resizeexpr.py file that i forgot to include, how come so many people downloaded it and nobody said anything
