well truth bez told im a very old user of Vbox

but i usualy use only hamchi but i trid hard and and i made it work with router (wifi connection isnt the same as cable or at least not 100%)

well i have wifi i only set the network to my wifi adabter

then start my freebsd

then go to the router config page (192.168.1.1) and enter DHCP

but i solved it :

well i got the idia 2-3-4 may be a 100 time but never try i have the sql file

i just deleted the item proto table then run the query the table was add again and the game work again

ah and if any one want a full item proto (with his lang) just give your item proto (GF) (i will give you .xml and .sql file ) // ah and this for free

check your configs maybe you are loading txt and you don't have the txt files or you are loading sql and you don't have the tables, or they are blank

both of them are there

well truth bez told im a very old user of Vbox

but i usualy use only hamchi but i trid hard and and i made it work with router (wifi connection isnt the same as cable or at least not 100%)

well i have wifi i only set the network to my wifi adabter

then start my freebsd

then go to the router config page (192.168.1.1) and enter DHCP

on your FreeBSD :

1-you have a erorr on your start.sh script

2-there are no symbolic link on the channel 3-4 core (symbolic link FreeBSD = shortcut Windows)

3-the symbolic link are wrong

can you copy past your start.sh script and how your : for ex.ch3 core 1 look like (a pic will do)

well i dont now where does the problem came from but try

1-update your FreeBSD (i recommend 9.2 << sence vanilla game work perfectly on them)

2-get the latest lib32.txz

3-reinstall compatx7

other than that try vanilla game only for testing if it work then your problem is from the game

(read the readme.txt file that come with vanilla core)

the mysql problem happen to me many time (more then 20 time last week) i think thats because the orginal mysql file has been changed

the best solution is to rebuilt it as Shogun said and give it a other user and pass

to install the mysql server 56:

cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql56-server
make BUILD_OPTIMIZED=yes BUILD_STATIC=yes
make WITH_XCHARSET=all install clean

then

ee /etc/rc.conf

make sure that this line is written

mysql_enable="YES"

to give root it password

service mysql-server start
/usr/local/bin/mysqladmin -uroot password 'enterpassword'

change 'enterpassword' by your pass word it should look like this


/usr/local/bin/mysqladmin -uroot password metin2dev

in this case metin2dev is the pass for mysql-server

then

mysql -p

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'rumor'@'%'
IDENTIFIED BY 'password' WITH GRANT OPTION;
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'metin2'@'localhost'
IDENTIFIED BY 'password' WITH GRANT OPTION;
quit

here rumor is the account you should use if you have a root server

some may have the question why not using root

well its highly recommended not to use root nor for mysql nor sftp nor ftp nor ssh

ah and change 'password' with your 'passwordhere'

i had this problem with vanilla game and db

and to fix it i reinstalled compatx7

that seem to be incompleat + lib32

for lib32

fetch ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/amd64/amd64/9.1-RELEASE/lib32.txz
tar Jxpvf lib32.txz -C /
rm lib32.txz

then

cd /usr/ports/misc/compat7x && make deinstall
cd /usr/ports/misc/compat7x && make -DBATCH install clean

it should work

but i realy want to know what

How about a new gameplay fix for 2.5?

It's regarding to the manashield skill black mage suras got.

Currently the manashield works like this:

Every incoming damage will be reduced by a third.

This reduced amount will be used as mana cost for the skill. When you rank up the skill or raise your iq, there'll be a %-value written on the skill. This percent-value does not affect the reduced damage (it will always reduce the third mentioned above). But this value will reduce the mana costs.

So the third will be reduced by the percent value and then used as mana cost.

Now what I planned to fix and rebalance this skill:

The percent value will be used to reduce the incoming damage. So there won't be a "third"-rule anymore - what you see is what you get. So if you're seeing 30%, you'll remove 30% of the incoming damage

But, to fix the mana cost: 20% of the reduced damage will be used for the new mana cost. If you don't have enough mana, the rest of your mana will be used and computed. This means that the rest of your mana will be the 20% of the damage you'll prevent.

Now, that'd of course require to rebalance the skill value. Because if you're getting ~100 iq and your skill on P, you'd reduce over 100% and that's just impossible and would enhance the damage at last. So you guys would need to set new values for the skill.

That's why I'm asking you: Do you want this in 2.5? If not, then I'll just throw this change away and not commit it.

Tell me your thoughts.

Well you can alwase release a diff file for those how want this change

just reinstall compatx7 there is an error

cd /usr/ports/misc/compat7x && make -DBATCH install clean

thats all and it should work just fine

To give you guys food for thought once again:

If you are interested to do stuff which can be really used then DO IT RIGHT!

As hobby designer you maybe don't know how to make files which can be used for several things (later).

Work with Illustrator (or Freehand) and save your logo in EPS format. From this file, metin2dev can make as any bitmap versions at whatever size they want to choose. They are infinitely scalable without loose quality.

For the preview you can do your gradients, shadows and other effects in Photoshop but create a vector!

Thank you, but the files infected with a virus

i think thats because its (might be) a VB program

it would be very normal to get this kind of probelm with them

but as long as VirusTotal dont show 100/100 (exept for autopatcher) there is no problem in most of the cases
