Metin2 drop_item

[anonyym 0]

Hello metin2dev, in the database, player.mob_proto table is a column named "drop_item", so the specified monster will drop that item, my question is where i can set the chance of it? I suppose that it's somewhere in the source but I can't find it. If someone knows how to, please leave a reply, thank you!

Hello, if I remember we'll, the column in mob_proto, is for drop specific items like for missions,  like wolf claw,  etc, so you can edit in etc.txt but this is very complicated to understand,  so you can try using this:

if you don't want use this , I recommend you clean etc.txt and you working only in mob_drop_item.txt

And you can create normals drops with random % or drop for difference level, or kills drop, and for specific item for missions, you can use the quest 'telling

When kill x mobs have x % drop missions object.
