Greeting Friends!

Hopefully i'm not the ony one that just recently entered the world of Metin2 Servers and that has some questions regarding it's beginning!

From my research the first files were from "Rain", how were they released and were?

When did the metin2 servers started to appear?

The files were in Korean right?

What client did most people use? The original one?

Is the person that released the files still around? Was he arrested?
