Complie and run server on LINUX

How can i compile server source code on linux , how can i run the complied source?

there was already a similiar thread in Linux section

You won't compile it on linux until you port network code to epoll or other I/O event notif. mechanism supported by selected distro. The current one, which is kqueue, is *BSD specific.

Simple as that Why compiling for linux if freebsd is working stable and fast? It works without any problems, why should someone do all the work porting it when it's already working fine

And if you remove IMPROVED_PACKET_ENCRIPTION, it work more fast.
