The goal was simple: create a professional editor dedicated to Metin2 proto files, while preserving the original file structure 100%.

Main Features

Opens any item_proto.txt file.

Automatically detects:

TAB separated files

Semicolon separated files

Comma separated files

Preserves the original file order.

No automatic sorting.

Everything remains exactly where it originally was.

Automatic modified row detection.
Every modified row is highlighted in yellow, making it immediately obvious what has changed before saving.

Productivity Shortcuts

Ctrl + F

Search any value inside the proto.

Ctrl + S

Save instantly.

Ctrl + O

Open another proto.

Ctrl + A

Select all text inside the edited cell.

Ctrl + C

Copy cell contents.

Ctrl + X

Cut cell contents.

Ctrl + V

Paste directly into the current cell.

ESC

Clears the current selection.

Row Editing

Instead of editing one line at a time in Notepad++:

Paste rows directly over existing ones.

Append new rows at the end.

Add completely empty rows with one click.

Perfect for importing content from Excel, another proto or community resources.

Safe Editing

Unlike generic text editors, this editor:

keeps the file formatting intact;

preserves separators;

preserves row order;

preserves headers;

does not modify anything outside the selected file.

When you press Save, only the actual changes are written back.
