HAMACHI connection

hi im trying to use hamachi to make my friend enter to make some tests 

my conf in virtualbox

for me it works if i use the hamachi ip i can enter putty winscp navicat ecc but my friends doesnt

i've tried to change the CONFIG file in auth ch99 ch1 but if i change it i cant login if i keep localhost it gets me in 

(serverinfo.py changed ofc)

serverfiles 40k 

i did something wrong?

if anyone have a complete tutorial maybe using zerotier?

Maybe try adding the ports in your portmap, the ones listed on your programs when connecting. Also, hamachi free version used to (or maybe it still does) mess with your internet settings and limit your connection speed, I'd recommend using alternatives.

 i did like this but it doesnt work also 50000 is red (50000 is only inside my serverinfo.py

For eg. port 21 for winscp and 3305 for heidi, at least that's what I use. Locally you won't need to open the ports, but for another person you do.

yes im trying to let my freind play.

so.... what should i do ?

i-ve used sockstat on virtualbox to see the ports open and i did on everyone but nothing 

 

@ florinx09 so i;ve tried making some tweaks and it seems in virtualbox (with windows os) with hamachi and vpn to simulate another player login (later i will check with friend) seems to work BUT big problem when i choose the character i get kicked back to lobby i-ve see many tutorial here but idk which one is the right one...

Oh, so you mean playing. Most servers need a separate launcher (surakopf) to be able to play with hamachi, radmin, etc. Since you have 40k you may need a vps or some changes on the source. More I don't know as I use 34k.

in the end i-ve make som edit in source and seems to working in virtualmachine now it go next the char select and i have also a ping of 70ms instead of 0 so i think is resolved
