Playing already existing private metin offline/just by myself on some lan

[dxeath 0]

Hey guys, I'm getting into creating servers etc., and I have a question, there's one private server I really like and i'd like to try stuff like different characters and dmg tests with meta and try the items, but the server is really hard and it would like a couple years until i get passives i need on different characters and other stuff, so i was wondering, is there any way to start the server with the existing files from the private server? So i can just play the server offline without any ppl on it and with GM powers? How does that work, I've seen some posts on how to start a server, but everything comes with a server pack thats just like official metin server.

(also sorry if topic like this already exists here, but i couldnt find anything that solves my problem, also im a begginer, so i dont understand programing or anything like that, so please reply so even someone who doesnt understand programing gets it)

If you want to play on that specific private server as your local pserver then you have to ask it's owner to send you the serverfiles (ofc. he will not do such things).

Your best (and only) choice is to create a server with a public serverfile and try to reproduce / copy your desired server's stuffs. You probably can't do it either as a beginner.
