Vanilla Core Problem

Hey Guys im from Austria and my English is not the best but i will try my best  (Sorry for that)

 

I used the 40k Files with test client 40250  updatet to FreeBSD 9.2 and Mysql 5.5

 

and i wanted to add the Vanilla core and after i did this i wanted to start but i became this error

socket_bind: bind: Can't assign requested address

 

and the sysserr says this

I tried to sysinstall new and so on but doenst worked

you used bind_ip at channel config??

Or used -I at the start file?

That append to me when I use one of that things...

yes i writed bind_ip: my ip in alle Configs but this wasnt helpful 

 

 

Maybe  the Vanilla core only works on a root server could that be ?

Isn't only the vanilla core is all 40k+, the client can't be iniciated by the surakopfsurakopf, just with a vps/dedicated server this will work

It depends on bsd, if someone compile source on FreeBSD 8 this error will be fixed. Bind public ip depends on socket.h from your BSD source.
