CrashTest 0
Hi guys, I'm an experienced C++ (and Qt) developer and a Python enthusiast but a Metin2 lover too. After a few years spent as player I want start to develop for Metin2 just for fum. So let me ask you something that can help some other newbies like me. Which file servers and client do you recommend to learn? And, in general, where would I start? Greetings, CrashTest

Yes, I already got it but my goal isn't to open a private server. I just want to learn something about the Metin2 development world so I'm looking for basic sources to get better over the time on my own . I have no time and no money to invest in a my pserver,I only like programming. At the moment I'm writing a CMS in Golang and an autopatcher in C++ (Qt) with some features like: binary diffing hashing (of each individual file) zip compression at highest level launching argument patch rollback (if patch applying fails) HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and filesystem upload/download repairer (if the antivirus -or the user- delete at least one file) other features that I'll release as soon as possible on my GitHub page as FOSS.
