Metin2 German Client Unpack

[Ace 4647]

Does anyone know how to unpack Type 4?

I would like to use German clients, but i can not unpack properly, because the files are damaged.

Sorry for my english.

You should go online to the GF server with injected python extractor to unpack the files properly. The server will send the keys for the client and then python extractor can extract them. If you are not interested in the patches from yesterday (metin2_patch_etc_costume1, metin2_patch_pet1) you can extract other patches with these official keys: https://mega.co.nz/#!WFcTCJ7a!6lj-sJ_3LNRzli8ZL5gi4yyXStPo1cCwwC47AdBxzTc

Use an older bin and unpack with the RealFreak Ingame extractor

But i need only the Complet Client from GF-Germany

the DEV Client is not so good... and the client need much work.

I will send you something as soon as im Home to unpack the german client

Anyone here can help ?

[Shogun 5791]

I'm not sure of what you need. Type 4 can only be unpacked with Python extractor, but most .dat files got published anyway, and the newer packs are also decrypted and published.

Mhm.. i have problem with dev client

i i convert all gr2 files, then i have 1200+ wrons in my client syser

i dont know why..

and i need some new costüms, dungeon etc.

[Shogun 5791]

replace granny2.dll with this one http://metin2dev.org/board/topic/91-granny-28-for-new-binaries/

[Ace 4647]

replace granny2.dll with this one http://metin2dev.org/board/topic/91-granny-28-for-new-binaries/

But:

Just replace the original dll in your client. Please note, it only works on original, packed client binaries.

I dont understand that..

for example:

i use the Dev client (test-client 40250)

i have convert all the gr2 files, and i have replace the granny2.dll

its work, but the problem is, the syser is full with wrongs.

You have to convert your gr2 models with the granny_converter.
