Why does World-Editor render objects as black (sometimes)

Does anyone know why sometimes when you render  a minimap objects come out "black"?

You can use old WorldEditor (the original one from source) to generate MAI minimap which has the right model texture, its just something is fucked up with the minimap rendering in  @martysama0134's world editor.
