Don't know if I'm right, Im not much of a developer..but

First of all you have 2 types of "protos" One is client-sided and one server-sided.

Item_proto - Describes each item you have on your server (name,what can it be used for, what it cant be used for,who can use it,when,why etc...) - Server sided

Item_proto in client shows the name of the item and everything else that is printed to your screen (for some items it may be time,model(armors)

Mob proto also runs on both sides.

Server sided is used to set gold drop,exp,what kind of mob is it, its rank, level, etc.

Client sided one is used again to set what is printed onto the screen (name,lvl,rank, and you can even manipulate mob color)

So basically server sides describes how each item/mob is going to work and client sides are to describe how a certain mob will look.

Try going to metin2_map_skipia_dungeon_02 folder and rename mapproperty.txt to MapProperty.txt

Such logs are caused because you have too much shit that isnt running properly. Clear your other logs that you can and you will see this will go away, it always happens to me when i have a lot of different logs with mob spawns, accumulations and motlist.txt. I fixed them and the FDWATCH went away also.

Can't you just change auth port while you dont want people to log in do what you want to do and change your auth port to the orginal one?

Sorry guys but I'm back with another problem :<

I can't generate a proper minimap everytime there are some objects missing

Images are quite big, so i put them in spoilers.

As you can see everytime i generate a new minimap there are so bits missing and if i go back to this place and generate a new minimap then somewhere else the objects will disappear.

Any help will be appreciated

Try change it CHECK_MULTIHACK: 1 in your channel CONFIG to 0

Hi guys can someone explain to me how does granny actually work ? Why some models are seen on different versions and some are not ?

Besically I'm using standart version of granny so i guess is 2.4.0.7 and i have some objects for 2.6.0.10 and they work fine but i get syserr about wrong granny version.. next i have another pack of objects for 2.6.0.10 and they don't work.. Same with models 2.8 + they don't work either. So how does it work ? Why some of them work fine some are not ? #JUST_WONDERING.

#1 It's not about the items probably , go to your database player > go to query > new query and write truncate player_deleted;
