  1. Targets for quests are normally indicated on the map with a white circle and the target blinks red and white on the compass. In the beginning of the video, the circle does not show up on the map and neither does the target blink red and white on the compass. At 0:02, he approaches the target and only then do the above indicators show up. The bug makes it basically impossible to complete horse levelup quests, among others. The bug originates from not applying the y-coordinate in target.cpp of the server source. This is likely due to having accidentally overwritten the line.
  2. I had the same problem and the others probably do too but I managed to fix it! Server src: target.cpp Search for: pck.lX = x; Insert underneath: pck.lY = y; Don't forget to compile!
  3. Thank you so much! It was driving me crazy but thanks to you it's fixed for now. Seven blessings to you
  4. @cherabomba It seems like I experience both bugs after all. If you don't mind, would you please share your solution?
  5. A bit late to the party, but I had a similar problem of getting 1shot by particular mobs. For me it turned out to be the dam_multiply column in mob_proto which held exceptionally high values. Edit the corresponding value in mob_proto.txt and restart the server.
  6. May I ask how you fixed the second problem? I noticed that only the very first login of a character in a client session displays the quest scrolls on the left of the screen. At first I thought this was a feature but since level up quests don't show up in the quest log (N) I don't believe this is intended... Would be grateful for any help!
  7. Thanks Galet! Helpful as always ? A small correction though: Be sure to put curly braces around the statements after the if-clause. Otherwise, offering EXP will always fail.
