    It could be that you are trying to compile on a 64Bit system. To check if you are on a 64Bit system, use the command: uname -p if it returns amd64, you are on a 64Bit system. Compilation does't not work on 64Bit, only on 32Bit. TMP4 mentions this in the file FAQ.txt Martysama has a guide to create a FreeBSD 32Bit Jail on Github: [Hidden Content] That could help you, but I didn't have time yet to test it myself.
