Yes, I said I used 2012 one before but now I'm going to try 2013 one. [Hidden Content] I can still use 2012, I unpacked 2013 files when server was open (at least I still have an open folder but idk if it contains them lol) but idk how to make new things run on older like root & locale changes for dance_6.

I'm not on my computer & I don't remember right now. But owner was something like profizocker2 or v2.

WE is for KOREAN players but the system was like other servers in the world, like item lv.s, 5 skills for warrior etc. that's because it was empty & they closed it first. & Yeah there were 2 servers and they closed we_korea first & Ymir continued. But I was still able to login we_korea (with a little edit on client) & Ymir too. (Before the close of ymir.) Korea client has both we_korea & Ymir with different locale epk/eix's.

I have a modified client of last metin2.co.kr but I meant there WERE 2 servers on the SAME interface & they deleted the we_korea one BEFORE the close of YMIR, I checked if we_korea was still working and I logged in 2013, but was empty & (I remember doing something like this on Gameforge beta server too.). So i don't know if it's working now & I don't think it works because they might change IPs. I wish the first(ymir) server was open I had Korean friends there & I added one on Facebook but haven't talked since the close of the server.

Thank you so much. I modded my client after the close of the server and couldn't find a clean one. Edit: did you know we_korea still worked after they turned .co.kr to one server? I mean locale.cfg --> we_korea & server was open. I'll try it again but I don't have much hope.

My serverfile & FreeBSD are old & I tried logging in with Metin2 Korea 2012 client. I have no error in syserr. I also tried the "current en client" here and without_pong acted like this(I can be wrong but it didn't connect) with_pong exe worked(only for female shaman & warrior. Also It didn't show any items in my inventory.) I tried updating my FreeBSD to install a new game but it gave me an error like "can't find servers giving up". So I'll download a new vhd and try again.

Hi. I think it's a noob question but when I try connecting to my server with official client, it says "connecting.." & this appears on serverside. I remember/think it's about pong or something but that's because I stopped dealing with metin2 2 years ago and became a noob again. Thank you Serverside: English is not my native language so I'm sorry if I made any mistakes.

Omg I just noticed their backgrounds are the same.

And the server didn't have low lv. characters maybe they wouldn't close if new players came. I was lv'ling with 110+ lv's etc.However they were not so many people online. Ugh If only we got that 1st server's files because items, skills, max lv., maps..

If only we had an older client.. I have searched even on Korean websites but I couldn't find any client. Maybe I'll search in Chinese too but um searching a file 10-11 years old.. I have a friend from Korean (closed :'( ) server but I might not ask him because I don't think he can find it too..

I found them by searching Korean typed metin2 in 2002-2005 websites so they are not private server or fake. I thinks it's so different from the final. Look at the skills before/after grouped so I think there were 2 betas. There are some of them hidden in files of metin2 for example: pc.epk Do we have any client/files from that time?
