Not everyone can develop their own core and for those who can't I suggest using the Vanilla Core.

 

No one how now how to work with the source will use this Vanilla Core.

Run this command on FreeBSD:

mysql -u root -p

Press enter

If you get any error then your mysql is probably not running or it has some problem.

After run these queries:

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'enter password' WITH GRANT OPTION;

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'mt2'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'mt2!@#' WITH GRANT OPTION;

Flush privileges;

quit

And try to run your metin2 server again.

Use vanilla's gamecore, i think someone messed up the gamefile with hex editor.

Yes someone who uses another client can still choose the deleted kingdom but I don't see that as a real problem.

Hmm, yes and as a serverside fix a simple quest can prevent anyone to login who from the yellow empire

You will need to make changes to the game binary and server binary, or else anyone can use their own client and create a character to the blocked kingdom

It's possible but no one will try to do it, because everyone now has the source, so simply switch to 40k gamefile by vanilla or 34k gamefile or just compile your own source , there are tutorials on how to compile and on how to add 4 slots.
