I think it can't be fixed because this function just remove an item.If you want to remove 1 item from the stack you should use item->SetCount.

technically you can "fix" the function but i wouldn't recommend as well.

 

Snippet(In item_manager.cpp):

if (item->GetCount() > 1) {
    item->SetCount(item->GetCount() - 1);
}
