You have to change a lot of things. If you have to ask, then you probably are not ready to port to 64bit.

Here's what you need to do:

- Obtain 64bit versions of all the libraries you use, and set them up correctly;

- Change the target in the compiler to x64;

- Enable all warnings (and probably set the compiler to treat warnings as errors).

- Fix all warnings/errors (especially the ones related to pointer use/conversion);

- When converting pointers to integers, use polymorphic types (ex: std::uintptr_t);

- Find out what model your target system uses, and change types accordingly (ex: on windows x64 "long" is 32bits, but on other 64bit systems it is 64bits).

- Use a code analyzer to find anything you (or the compiler) might have missed;

- Test a lot.
